“It starts with an idea..I love the process of thinking, designing, working it out and making. It's absorbing!”
Maureen’s jewellery is renowned for its sophisticated simplicity where detail is considered and restrained. Her simple forms are softened with curves and natural lines, making each piece eminently wearable and a subtle statement of elegance. Her work is tactile and, without the addition of surface detail, light glints from the polished surfaces.
"I fell in love with The Netherlands many years ago and return often. I love their sensibility. It imbues my approach to design. I take simple forms and work them, in the way a poet takes simple everyday language, and hones it to the point where it captures something special."
